Oh Cheesecake!!!

Tonight we were all at the table eating dinner when Makayla dropped a noodle onto her dress. She looked at it and said, "Crap!" I told her that that is not a word we should say. We need to think of a better word to use when we are upset. I named a couple things she could say and she didn't like them. Ben said a few alternative words and she didn't like those either. Finally I said, "Okay Makayla you pick what you want to say instead." She looked at me and said, "Oh cheesecake!" We told her that is perfect!

What a Great Easter!!!

Well we had another great Easter. We started out on Saturday dying easter eggs. Makayla had so much fun. We only did a few because none of us really like hard boiled eggs. On Sunday Makayla woke up around 6:45am. She was so excited to see if the Easter bunny came. We found the footprints that the Easter bunny made and Makayla followed them to find her Easter basket. She was so excited. She got both Bolt and Pinnochio and some yummy candy. Afterward, we got her pretty easter dress on, did her curly hair, and took some pictures. She looks just like a princess as usual. After that we went to church. Ben had a nice relaxing time learning about Christ while I battled with five three-year old in the Sunbeam class. But I love it!!! Hope you all had a great Easter too!!!

New Hobby...

I've decided to take up a new hobby. I am making doll clothes. Don't worry I am not trying to sell these. They are way too much work to do that but I do enjoy making them for Makayla and she LOVES them!!! I have just been giving them to her whenever I am done with one but I have decided to now hide them and save them for a present for something. She is already spoiled enough I don't want to make it worse. Anyway, it fills my time and I enjoy it so I will keep doing it for a while... until I find something else to fill my time!!!
