5 Months Old

Kyle is now five months old. I can't believe how fast the time is going by. He is getting cuter and smarter every day. We love him so much and can't imagine our family without the little guy. Next month we will get to take him to the temple and he will be sealed to us forever. We are counting down the days.

We took Kyle to his five month appointment and he is now 16 pounds and 26 inches long. He is rolling over now but just from his tummy to his back. He hates his tummy time! Kyle loves to smile and laugh. He smiles at anyone and everyone who looks at him. But we don't like to tell them that because that way they think they are the only one who make him smile.Kyle has discovered the joys of toes. Kyle is almost sitting by himself. He will sit for a couple seconds and then fall over. My guess is that when I am giving his six month update he will be sitting like a pro.Kyle LOVES his sister. Makayla can always get a smile and a laugh out of him. She is such a good helper. Josie LOVES her Kyle. It is pretty funny because she never liked Makayla much. Every time I have to lay Kyle on the bed to change his diaper or get a bottle Josie sits right by him comforting him. We now have to be a little more careful though because apparently Kyle likes to eat Josie hair. I will spare you the details of how we found that one out!

It has worked out really well because right as the weather has been changing Kyle has grown out of his clothes. I was able to pull out his 6-9 month clothes the other day and Kyle has quite the wardrobe. Thanks to all the wonderful people who gave us so many beautiful clothes. These are his adorable jammies from Erica and Cambrie. Thanks guys!!!Every day I wake up I can't believe how blessed I am. I have two beautiful children. I love them more than I ever thought was possible. I have a wonderful husband who is the best father I have ever met. Whenever I have had a hard day with the kids Ben comes home and takes over. Who could ask for a better life?
