As most of you know Makayla has had a few issues this year that have been really hard for her. We have worked really hard for her to overcome these and Makayla did it!!!! Ben and I are so proud of her. She has worked so hard and been so amazing through all of this. She was promised after her success that she could have a swimming party with all her friends. She had so much fun! She wanted a princess cake and loved it. Makayla you are growing up so fast. We love you so much and are so proud of you.

Finally we got Makayla's dance video up! Thanks so much to Ben for helping me get it on the computer. Enjoy... oh yeah and I only expect grandparents to watch the whole thing. It is pretty long! Makayla Marie Shawcroft our future dance star...

I am the luckiest mom in the whole world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Saturday was a free fishing day here in Nevada so we all went fishing at the pond here in Fallon. It was a little chilly and rainy but luckily for the couple hours we were there it was beautiful. Daddy did a great job checking the weather and making sure it would be nice. We didn't have any luck catching anything but it was a lot of fun. Makayla had a great time on her first fishing trip!Daddy is teaching Makayla the art of fishing.

I think she's got it!Mommy enjoyed it too.

Woops!!! Kyle is hungry. Let's take a little break and feed him.The best part of the whole trip was when daddy wanted to teach Makayla and I how to have the perfect cast. Well, the line ended up in the tree. Makayla thought it was hilarious and so did I!!!
When we got home Makayla was riled up and Kyle was exhausted! Typical three year old and 7 week old. What a great day!!!

Makayla loves her brother!!!

Makayla loves Kyle so much! I thought that she might be a little jealous when we brought him home but she really isn't at all. She is constantly wanting to hold him and feed him. Every time he cries she is right there trying help him stop. Her favorite thing to do is sing to him. She is the sweetest and best big sister ever!!!
