The next two weeks are spring break for Makayla so we have been trying to come up with fun things to do to fill the time. The weather isn't really cooperating with us so we decided to have a tea party.
Makayla helped plan the menu and also helped make the food. We decided to have pink lemonade, peanut butter sandwiches, fruit and fruit dip, and pink cupcakes for dessert. Makayla was most excited about the cupcakes. She put the sprinkles on all by herself.
Makayla invited her two best friends Lynnie and Madison. All morning long she kept asking me how much longer until she they would get there. About every minute she would ask, "How much longer mom?" Finally at about 10 minutes to go she came into my room with the saddest look on her face. I asked her what was wrong and she told me, "I just know they aren't coming!!!" Poor thing. Finally the time arrived and they both showed up. Makayla was so excited. They had their tea party and then proceeded to take every toy that Makayla owns out. Luckily Makayla had two great helpers to help clean up afterwards. It was a wonderful morning full of fun. There is nothing better than knowing that your child is happy!

Lori that is way too precious! Not only is Makayla a doll but a tea party sounds like such a fun thing! I'm glad she had fun!
