I can't believe it!!! Kyle is already one month old. How time flies when you are happier than you have ever been. I love being a mother of two. Makayla is so much fun. I love that we can have conversations about things. She does have a little attitude now that shows up a couple times a day but with that is her sweet little personality that loves everyone and everything. She is constantly telling all of us how much she loves us. And then there is my little boy. I can't even imagine life without him now. He is such a huge part of our lives. We are so blessed to have this special little spirit in our home.
Kyle is growing up so fast! We just took him to the hospital to get his newborn lab work done and while we were waiting in the room there was a baby scale. So we turned it on and put Kyle on it. He weighed 9 pounds!!! Holy cow at least we know he is eating well. It will be fun to see how much he has grown at his two month appointment. Kyle is trying to smile at us but he hasn't quite gotten there yet. This morning I got a half smile out of him but we are waiting for the real thing. He is starting to grab our hands which is always fun. He also is holding his head up a lot better. Overall he is absolutely perfect. We love him so so so so much!!!
While we were in Utah we were trying to think of a nick name for Kyle. We thought of a bunch of things but nothing stuck. When Brooke handed him over to us at the hospital she told us that she had been calling him Ky Guy. Well, Brooke I am glad to tell you that that has stuck and we love it. That is pretty much all that Makayla ever calls him. He is our sweet little Ky Guy!

it!!!! Ben and I are so proud of her. She has worked so hard and been so amazing through all of this. She was promised after her success that she could have a swimming party with all her friends. She had so much fun! She wanted a princess cake and loved it. Makayla you are growing up so fast. We love you so much a
nd are so proud of you.

The best part of the whole trip was when daddy wanted to teach Makayla and I how to have the perfect cast. Well, the line ended up in the tree. Makayla thought it was hilarious and so did I!!!
When we got home Makayla was riled up and Kyle was
